Nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at HUGE room with gorgeous decor. Annabelle the cat was a great addition and the Edgar Allen Poe theme was done very well. Was able to get a drink at their evermore bar and they were also so kind! Would love to stay here longer next time!!

Stayed here last week, and it was an amazing choice! The Inn is charming, with lots of historical touches even in the rooms! The landscape is gorgeous and makes you feel right at home. There is a cat named Annabel who lives at the Inn, and she was an adorable surprise.

I can't speak highly enough of my stay at Linden Row, but I'll try. The staff made my 2 month stay, quite frankly, wonderful. They went above and beyond numerous times and with no complaints or attitude. Myra trekked across icy sidewalks to track down my DoorDash order one of the first weeks I was there and I think we had some sort of telepathy going on because she always seemed to know when I was coming down to get any food deliveries; Ryan got me to and from work safely and promptly, was an informative guide on a brief, impromptu tour, and shared great stories of his time in hotel management; Vince was great to talk to in the mornings and kept me laughing, which was a nice way to start the sometimes long days; Noxtus and Mr. Rob were always a pleasure to see when I came by for coffee in the mornings, and the food was delicious (breakfast burrito is highly recommended), and the other three front desk folks whose names escape me (sorry!!) were just as wonderful and helpful, helping me with deliveries, laundry, and scheduling the shuttle (and provided a great book recommendation!). And Annabelle, that cutie pie, star of the show... I miss her a bunch already. My room was wonderful, comfortable, and the place felt like home very quickly. I was sad to go but look forward to a short upcoming stay. Thanks again to all. See you soon!

I liked this place. The bed was super comfortable. My room had everything I needed. Street parking was easy. It's right across from the library. Good price, too. If you like historic stuff, cats, literature, a bar, nice breakfast food, I'd definitely recommend.

I highly recommend choosing the option to receive a book about the Linden Row Inn when you reserve your room! Learning about the site's incredible history while visiting was a wonderful experience. And for a place that's so historic, it's been thoughtfully modernized in the best ways. So it's really comfortable and welcoming, with the amenities we've all become accustomed to, but still feels like walking into history. And the rooms have real keys! I don't know why that charmed me so much, but it did. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Richmond, and will recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful alternative to a chain hotel.

We recently stayed at Linden Row Inn for my cousin’s wedding, and it was a fantastic experience. The garden area is absolutely stunning and served as the perfect backdrop for the ceremony—it truly feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Richmond. The historic charm of the rooms and the property itself made for a very memorable stay. The only "pro-tip" I’d offer for future guests—especially those with mobility challenges—is to be aware of the parking layout. The garage is behind the building, and since the side gate is latched from the inside, you do have to walk the block to the front entrance. As two handicap placard holders, this was a bit of a trek after a 5-hour drive. That being said, the staff was great and the venue is unmatched for a wedding. We would definitely recommend it for the atmosphere and the beautiful garden setting!
